Holiday Gifts for Everyone On Your List

As much as you love giving the gift of beautifully crafted paper every holiday season, you like to keep them on their tinsel toes. Which is why we’ve curated a very tailored collection of non-paper gifts we thought our Enthusiasts might just love. The hostess, the children’s French instructor, your favorite postal employee — we like to think we’ve thought of everyone. Here are a few ideas to get those gift-giving wheels turning.

jonathan adler blue playing cards

  • For The Player

Bridge club. Poker. Or just Go Fish with the kids. For the loved one who is always up for a game and can shuffle like no one’s business, these vibrant Jonathan Adler playing cards are a trick, an ace and a royal flush all in one.

  • For The Bookworm

After he received a Kindle (and Tweeted about it) for his birthday, you thought your days of showering your favorite brother-in-law with signed hardcovers were over. Turns out, he still loves stocking his bookshelf. (Phew.) Show him you appreciate his impressive collection with these dachshund bookends. Quirky and fun, kind of just like him.

Simon Pearce Photo Block

  • For The Happy Couple

Newly wed, new baby — milestones like these don’t come a long very often, and they’ve been breaking in that new camera with fervor. So many pictures, so little frames. The Simon Pearce Woodbury Horizontal Photo Block is sure to get prime mantle time.

Cognac Letter Opener

  • The Scribe

The personalized stationery stash is always plentiful, and the Herman Miller desk gets plenty of mileage. Sending mail is just as lovely as receiving it, and for the latter the leather letter opener is the perfect pen-to-paper accessory.

Kate Spade Red 2012 Agenda

  • The Socialite

Pilates, work, cocktails… and for dinner? She makes a mean reservation. It’s no wonder the week she lost her agenda she went into a spiral of despair. Let’s never let that happen again, shall we? A Kate Spade agenda in red and hot pink should do the trick.

  1. Since my days of volunteering to organize centuries of disorganized fonts in their appropriate cases at the Bowne Stationers in lower Manhattan I can’t think of a position I would bring more passion to than that of creative manger of Cranes.
